We took the kids to see fireworks for the first time last night. They took a late afternoon nap and Kris slept for about three hours when he got home from work. We left the house at seven thirty and headed to the beach. We met up with friends and watched the most amazing fireworks. The kids loved them!

Unfortunately it took over an hour to get out of the parking lot. The truck has no AC and it was late so Izzie wasn’t thrilled about the long wait. We ended up getting home shortly after midnight. It’s a good thing Kris took that three hour nap, because he was only able to get an hour and a half of sleep before getting up for work:(
